The THP will be at the 13 mile marker on Highway 11 targeting those operating a vehicle while unbelted. Corrective actions also will be taken for other violations observed.

Also, THP will be on Highway 31 at the 14 mile marker conducting sobriety roadside safety checkpoints.

Troopers will evaluate drivers for signs of alcohol or drug impairment and take corrective actions for other violations observed.

THP recognizes that these roadside checkpoints are highly visible and effective tools for enforcing the sobriety and safety belt laws of Tennessee.
