Donna Gail Houston died Wednesday, April 17th at Sumner Regional Medical Center, in Gallatin. She is a graduate of Bodenham High School, attended Motlow Community College on a basketball scholarship and received her associate’s degree, attended Martin Methodist College and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Human Services, attended Trevecca Nazarene College and obtained her master’s degree in counseling. She worked in manufacturing as a quality engineer and later in counseling.
Visitation will be Thursday, April 25th from 4 until 6:00pm at Bennet-May and Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory.
Graveside services will be Friday, April 26th at 1:00pm at Maplewood Cemetery in Pulaski.
Survivors include her daughter Whitney Houston and Brian Alexander, 3 Grandchildren , brothers, Larry Houston, Michael and wife Jennie Houston, Dennis and wife LaQuita Houston, and Thomas Houston, sister, Barbara Howard. Several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends also survive.
