The College System of Tennessee continues to identify and develop scalable solutions to address workforce development gaps across Tennessee.
Recently, the College System announced the launch of a new Tile Manufacturing Operator program at three of its technical colleges in the fall of 2026.
This new program prepares students to become successful operators in the tile manufacturing and production industry by familiarizing them with tile production and manufacturing practices.
Students will learn how to operate machines they’ll use in their day-to-day tasks, precision measurement skills and the certifications needed to secure a good-paying career in the industry.
