Wanda Konig, age 65, of Summertown, TN passed away Tuesday, October 05, 2021, at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, TN.  She was a native of Yuba City, CA, a teacher with the Lawrence County School System, and a member of Summertown Baptist Church. 

 

She was preceded in death by her mother, Ida Sue Dennis Carothers.

 

She is survived by her husband, Steve Konig of Summertown, TN; one daughter, Amanda Konig of Summertown, TN; two sons, Kody Konig (Kate) of Simpsonville, SC and Chris Bowers of Florence, AL; two sisters, Debbie Uman (Tom) and Phyllis Reynolds, both of Yuba City, CA; one brother, Douglas Carothers of Parachute, CO; her father and step-mother, Elmer and Gloria Carothers of Yuba City, CA; and special aunt, Barbara Carothers (Allen) of Yuba City, CA.

 

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM Thursday, October 07, 2021, at Summertown Baptist Church. A memorial service will be conducted at Summertown Baptist Church at 6:30 PM Thursday, October 07, 2021, with Howard Kitter and Tim Abernathy officiating.   Condolences may be sent by way of our website at www.nealfuneralhome.net.
