Dwain Shaw, age 73, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Monday, October 04, 2021, at his residence.  He was a native of Lawrence County, TN, known as "The Kroger Man" where he worked for 44 years, and a member of First Presbyterian Church of Lawrenceburg.  He was also a member of the Gandy Community Club, Lifetime Member of Gandy Fire Department,  President of Davy Crockett Good Sam Club, and Fair Commissioner over the Country Hams.  Mr. Shaw served his country honorably in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents, June and Vera Mae Bishop Shaw; and his brother, David Ray Shaw.

 

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Charlotte Shaw of Lawrenceburg, TN; one son, Jason Shaw (Heather) of Christina, TN; one daughter, DeDe Buchanan (Jaesan) of Murfreesboro, TN; two sisters, Wanda Sanders (Monty) and Kay Skillington (Ricky), both of Lawrenceburg, TN; one brother, Dwight Shaw of Lawrenceburg, TN; five grandchildren, Adison Shaw, Owen Shaw, Alec Buchanan, Davis Buchanan, and Olivia Buchanan; several nieces and nephews.

 

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, October 08, 2021, at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Saturday, October 09, 2021, with Ben Gooch and Brian Shaw officiating. Interment will follow at Shaw Cemetery in Lawrence County, TN with full military honors.  The family suggests memorials be made to Lawrence County Tennessee 4-H.  Condolences may be sent by way of our website at www.nealfuneralhome.net.
