Philip Lynn Gattis, age 65, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at his residence.  He was a native of Nashville, TN, retired from Integrity Crane and Hoist, and a member of Gandy Church of Christ. 
 
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilford and Helen Frassrand Gattis; and one brother, Gerald F. Gattis.
 
He is survived by his wife, Linda Gattis of Lawrenceburg, TN; one son, Matthew Gattis of Crossville, TN; one step-son, Shane Garner (Conetha) of Lawrenceburg, TN; two step-daughters, Keila Smithson (Brian) of Lester, AL and Megan Smith (Adam) of Columbia, TN; one brother, Thomas Gattis (Victoria); four sisters, Susan Sisti (Ed), Debbie York, Beth Davis, and Kathrine Shavo (Christopher); six grandchildren, Austin Garner, Della Smithson, Dalton Smithson, Branum Smith, Lincoln Smith, and Malin Garner; one great-grandchild, Ryleigh Garner; mother-in-law, Patricia Gray; special sister-in-law, Brenda Coffey (Denny); several nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Ellie Mae.
 
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Unity Hospice for all the care shown to Mr. Gattis.
 
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM Friday, September 17, 2021, at Neal Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 3:00 PM Friday, September 17, 2021, with Larry Murdock and Jerry Morton officiating.  Interment will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery in Lawrence County, TN.
