Shelby Jean Clifton, age 77, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Friday, September 03, 2021, at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, TN.  She was a native of Waynesboro, TN, owner and operator of Jean's Machine Quilting, and a member of Salem Church of Christ. 

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Waymer Lee and Gladys Leona Pulley Sanders; one son, David William Clifton, Jr.; and three brothers, Floyd Sanders, Lloyd Sanders, and Robert Sanders.

 

She is survived by her husband, David Clifton of Lawrenceburg, TN; one daughter, Jill Johns (Matthew) of Lawrenceburg, TN; five grandchildren, Clay Garland, Macy Garland, Bryson Garland, Eli Johns, and Sidney Johns; one brother, Bill Sanders (Bonnie) of Lawrenceburg, TN; and sister-in-law, Pearl Clifton of Lawrenceburg, TN.

 

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Tuesday, September 07, 2021, at Neal Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Tuesday, September 07, 2021, with Bill Brazier officiating.  Interment will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Lawrence County, TN.  Condolences may be sent by way of our website at www.nealfuneralhome.net.
