David Ray Behel, 71, of Greenhill, AL, passed away September 2, 2021 at his home. David was a retired farmer and a member of Lone Cedar Church of Christ.

David is survived by:
Wife: Sherry Crunk Behel
Son: Markel Behel and wife Melanie of Greenhill
Daughter: Heather Killen and husband Michael of Greenhill
Brother: R.L. Behel and wife Virginia of Greenhill
Sisters: Opal Thompson of Lascassas, ; Alice Richardson of Chattanooga, TN; and Marcell Watkins and husband Mickey of Greenhill
Grandchildren: Mason, Karson, Micah, and Haley
Great-grandchildren: Landon, Gage, and Lily Snow

He was preceded in death by:
Parents: Roy Lee Behel and Artilue Ross Behel
Sisters: Lois Vinson and Shirley Thompson
Grandson: Markel Cain Behel

Visitation will be Sunday, September 5, 2021 from 1-3:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel with Tim Grigsby and Bill Creasy officiating. Burial will be in Greenhill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Ronnie Behel, Scotty Behel, Daryl Behel, Doyle Behel, Casey Behel, and Micah Miller.

The family would like to especially thank Dr. David Hollis, North Alabama Hospice nurse Matt Flannigan, care giver Stephanie Clemmons, and the Lone Cedar Church of Christ for their care and support during this difficult time.

The family would greatly appreciate it if all friends would wear a mask when addressing the family during the visitation.
