Calvin Hyde, age 80, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Thursday, September 2, 2021, at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, TN.  He was a native of Lawrenceburg, TN, retired supervisor from the City of Lawrenceburg Sanitation Department, and of the Baptist Faith. 

 

He was preceded in death by his parents, R.M. and Emma Lucker Hyde; seven brothers, Rudy Hyde, Frank Hyde, Alvin Hyde, Robert Hyde, Preston Hyde, Elzo Hyde, and Leroy Hyde; and one sister, Peggy Lumpkins.

 

He is survived by his wife, Jackie Hyde of Lawrenceburg, TN, one son, Gary Wayne Hyde (Pam) of Lawrenceburg, TN; one grandchild, Madi Hyde (Quinton Huntley) of Lawrenceburg, TN; two great-grandchildren, Zaylee Staggs and Boone Staggs; three step-grandchildren, Kelsey Hardison (Darrell), Kelli Kemp, and Kirk Kemp; one step-great-grandchild, Aubrey Dawne Hardison; one brother, Melvin Hyde (Janet) of Lawrenceburg, TN; one sister, Joann Rayfield of Tullahoma, TN; several nieces and nephews.

 

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM Sunday, September 5, 2021, at Neal Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 3:00 PM Sunday, September 5, 2021, with J.D.
