Mack Alvin Dodd, age 74, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Monday, August 30, 2021.  He was a native of Summertown, TN, retired truck driver, and a member of Beech Grove Baptist Church. Mr. Dodd served his country honorably in the U.S. Marine Corps during Vietnam.

 

He was preceded in death by his father, Milton "Buddy" Dodd; and his mother, Sarah Rosson Pilkinton.

 

He is survived by his wife, Lily Dodd of Lawrenceburg, TN; three daughters, Pearl Dodd of Loretto, TN, Ruby Chavez of Lawrenceburg, TN, and Amy Wesson of Chesapeake, VA; seven grandchildren, Lili Chavez, Jacob Chavez, Mikayla Chavez, Joseph Chavez, Jenna Chavez, Emily Wesson, and Megan Dodd.; sister, Dean Wolfe of Lawrenceburg, TN; and brother, Joe Dodd of Ethridge, TN. 

 

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. Graveside services and interment will be conducted at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens at 1:00 PM Sunday, September 5, 2021, with military honors.  Condolences may be sent by way of our website at www.nealfuneralhome.net.
