Larry Jerome Johnson, aged 72, formally of Minor Hill, TN went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, August 1, 2021. He was preceded in death by his wife, the love of his life, Shelia Johnson; his parents Robert Leo and Lolita Magness Johnson; His Aunt Juanita Pierce; and His brother-in-Law Dr. David Lay.

He is survived by sister, Yvonne Lay of Knoxville, TN; sons Larry Johnson and wife, Nancy of Maryville, TN; Bill Johnson and wife, Erika of College Station, Texas, Stepdaughter; Tisha Thomas and husband Ricky of Anderson, AL; stepson, Ben Tate of Rogersville, AL; Niece, Heather and Husband Shawn Kooch of Knoxville, TN; Nephew, Chad Brown of Knoxville, TN; Grandchildren, Christina Johnson, Sydney Johnson; step-granddaughters, Ashley Hairston, and husband, Jesse of Huntsville, AL; Alyssa Palmer and husband Jake of Rogersville, AL; nephew, Keegan Kooch of Knoxville, TN; step-great-granddaughter, Mila Caroline; special cousin Wanda and husband Jerry Hayes; and a host of family and friends.

Graveside Services will be held on September 4, 2021 at 10:00 A.M, at the Minor Hill Cemetery under the direction of Carr & Erwin Funeral Home (931)363-1533 with Bobby Wait officiating.
