Patricia Bevis Kelley, 82, of Florence, AL, passed away on Saturday, August 28, 2021.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM Friday, September 3, 2021, at Elkins Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, September 4, 2021, at New Hope Church of Christ.  Matt Heupel will be officiating. Burial will immediately follow in New Hope’s Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Elkins Funeral Home.
Patricia was born in Florence, AL on October 8, 1938. She graduated from Central High School and continued on to become an LPN.
Patricia was married to James “Dub” Kelley on November 23, 1957; they were married 34 years before his death.
Patricia worked as a nurse at Mitchell Hollingsworth for over 30 years before going into private duty nursing. She enjoyed quilting and loved to read. 
Patricia is survived by her sons John Kelley (Cindi) of Florence, AL and Jeff Kelley (Sheri) of Terre Haute, IN, grandchildren David Kelley of Florence, AL, Avery Kelley of Terre Haute, IN, William Kelley (Karina) of Muscle Shoals, AL, Jacob Kelley of Florence, AL, Peyton Krider of Terre Haute, IN and Devon Krider of Terre Haute, IN, and great-grandchildren Aubrey Kelley, Arrianna Kelley, Jayce Kelley and Ava Kelley all of Terre Haute, IN. She also found and got to meet and get to know her half-siblings from her birth father 4 years ago. Doyle Copeland Jr (Martha) of Louisville, KY, Diane Sampson (Jimmy) of Louisville, KY, and Ralph Copeland (Susan) of Louisville, KY.
Patricia is preceded in death by her parents Harold and Era Bevis, her husband James “Dub” Kelley, and son Jim Kelley.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to New Hope Church of Christ’s Cemetery Fund.
