John Eric Garretson, age 52 of Lawrenceburg, TN, passed away on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at Vanderbilt Medical Center. John worked for the city of Lawrenceburg in Public Works. He was a huge fan of Elvis Presley and had been to visit Graceland several times. He loved his family dearly and will be greatly missed.

He is preceded in death by his Father, Royce Dean Garretson; Brother, Michael Holt; Grandparents, Freeman Alton “Dude” Wright and Mary Alice Wright; Step Father, Edward White.

He is survived by his Wife, Heather Green; Mother, Doris White; Children, Victoria Garretson, Jonathan Garretson; Step Sons, David Green (Nikki), Micheal Green (Caroline); Brother, Steve Garretson; Grandchildren, Kezli, Konner, and Paxton Green; Several Nieces and Nephews; Special Friends, Keith Jacobs, Randy Luna, Jeff White (Carrie).

Visitation will be held at the Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

The Funeral Service will be held at the Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Chapel on Thursday, August 26, 2021 at 11:00 a.m.

Interment will be at Mimosa Cemetery.
