Wilma Jean Sears Kelley Newton, age 87, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Wednesday, August 18, 2021, at her residence.  She was a native of Corbin, KY, retired school bus driver, and a member of New Hope Baptist Church. 
 
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Clarence and Ora Black Sears; her first husband, James Arthur Kelley; her second husband, Amos Newton; one son, James Roger Kelley; three brothers, C. F. Sears, Claude E. Sears, and Wilbur Sears; and one grandson, Ricky Wayne Aldridge.
 
She is survived by two daughters, Brenda Aldridge of Memphis, TN and Diane Kelly of Lawrenceburg, TN; six step-daughters; two step-sons; three grandchildren, Jackie Hill (Michael) of Lawrenceburg, TN, Rhonda Stus (Sean) of Memphis, TN, and R. J. Kelley of Tullahoma, TN; five great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
 
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, August 20, 2021, at Neal Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 3:00 PM Saturday, August 21, 2021, with Rodney Krick officiating.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Tuesday, August 24, 2021, at Laurel Funeral Home in Corbin, KY.  Funeral services will be conducted at Laurel Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Tuesday, August 24, 2021.  Interment will follow at Black Cemetery in Gray, KY.  Condolences may be sent by way of our website at www.nealfuneralhome.net.
