Margie Christine Williams, age 87, passed away on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at Countryside Health and Rehabilitation. She was a native of Lawrence County, TN and had spent the last 4 years of her life living with her grandson in Waynesboro, VA. She was a member of the Red Hat club and a member of Meadowview Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her Parents, Sherman Gladney and Mary Elizabeth Davis Gladney; Brothers, J.W., Larry, and Thomas Gladney; Sisters, Katherine Myers, Dean Barnett, Ruth Slater, Alean Benefield; Son-in-law, J.R. Luther; Special Friend, Irene Robertson.

She is survived by her daughter, Sheila Luther; Sisters, Juanita Clifft (Hugh), Gaynell Benefield; Grandchildren, Jason Brewer (Lynn), Anthony Brewer (Katy); 3 Great Grandchildren; 2 Sister-in-laws, Nell Pettus, Linda Lee (Don)

Visitation will be held at the Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Chapel on Thursday, August 19, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

The Funeral Service will be held at the Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Chapel on Friday, August 20, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. with Caleb Smith officiating.

Interment will be at Richardson Chapel Cemetery.
