Sammie Grooms , age 89 of Loretto, TN passed away Saturday, August 14, 2021 at The Gardens Memory Care after an extended illness.  He was a native of Lawrence County,TN, a United States Army veteran serving in the Korean Conflict, retired from TVA,  and a member of Loretto United Methodist Church. Mr. Grooms loved bird hunting and baseball.  Graveside Services will be held at Loretto Memorial Gardens on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at 1:00 PM.  Jeff Jacob will be officiating.  Burial will follow in Loretto Memorial Gardens with military honors presented at the graveside.
