William Royce Cromwell, age 81, of Leoma, TN passed away Wednesday, August 11, 2021, at NHC Healthcare of Scott in Lawrenceburg, TN.  He was a native of Lawrence County, TN, retired from Murray Ohio after 44 years of employment, and a member of Leoma Baptist Church. 

 

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Lonzo and Mana Lou Bonner Cromwell; his wife, Jewell Dean Henson Cromwell; one son, Danny W. Cromwell; one grandson, Brett Curtis; and one great-grandson, Elijah Bunt.

 

He is survived by one son, Ricky W. Cromwell (Tammy) of Lawrenceburg, TN; one daughter, Sherry Bunt (Jay) of Murfreesboro, TN; one brother, Jerry E. Cromwell (Shirley) of Lawrenceburg, TN; one half-brother, Jim Bonner of Fayetteville, TN; seven grandchildren, Jason Cromwell (Lauren), Casey Cromwell (Tara), Derrick Curtis, John Bunt (Kaitlyn), Rebekah Bunt, Brandon Cromwell (Ashley), and Tyler Cromwell; and nineteen great-grandchildren.

 

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Saturday, August 14, 2021, at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Saturday, August 14, 2021, with David Simmerman officiating.  Interment will follow at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceburg, TN.  Condolences may be sent by way of our website at www.nealfuneralhome.net.
