Vicky Lynn Bowden Rau, age 62, of Murfreesboro, TN passed away Monday, August 09, 2021, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN.  She was a native of Lawrenceburg, TN, administrative assistant for Lowes, and of the Christian Faith. 

 

She was preceded in death by her father, Edward Bowden.

 

She is survived by one son, Cody Rau (Liz) of Murfreesboro, TN; her mother, Polly Bowden of Lawrenceburg, TN; one brother, Eddie Bowden (Angie) of Lawrenceburg, TN; one grandson, Noah Rau; special nephew, Jarred Bowden (Angel) of Memphis, TN; special niece, Jannia Bowden of Lawrenceburg, TN; one uncle, Bobby Wunner of Lawrenceburg, TN; and one aunt, Sara Stutts of Lawrenceburg, TN.

 

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM Friday, August 13, 2021, at Neal Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 3:00 PM Friday, August 13, 2021, with Mickey Brackin officiating.  Interment will follow at Houser Cemetery in Lawrence County, TN.  The family suggests memorials be made to The Pat Summitt Foundation.  Condolences may be sent by way of our website at www.nealfuneralhome.net.
