GILES COUNTY NATIVE, JAMES C. (JIMMY) HARGROVE OF FRANKLIN PASSED AWAY ON SUNDAY AUGUST 1ST 2021. HE WAS 74 YEARS OLD. HE WAS A RETIRED PASTOR AND A VETERAN OF THE UNITED STATES ARMY.

VISITATION WILL BE ON SATURDAY AUGUST 7TH AT TAYLOR'S CHAPEL BAPTIST CHURCH IN MURFREESBORO AT 11:00 AM WITH SERVICES TO FOLLOW AT 1:00 PM.

HE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HIS PARENTS JAMES E AND SARAH YANT HARGROVE; BROTHERS BOBBY HARGROVE AND DANNY RAY HARGROVE; SISTERS FRANCIS HARGROVE BROWN AND ANN HARGROVE GOATS.

HE IS SURVIVED BY HIS WIFE BETTY MCCARTER HARGROVE, TWO SONS, KEVIN (CATHY) HARGROVE OF EAGLEVILLE, AND BRIAN (AUTUM) HARGROVE OF FRANKLIN, AND FIVE GRANDCHILDREN.

HE IS ALSO SURVIVED BY 3 BROTHERS, WILLIAM T “BUDDY” HARGROVE AND LARRY HARGROVE OF PULASKI AND EARL HARGROVE OF MURFREESBORO.

SISTERS RUTH WILLIAMS OF PULASKI, STELLA (JEFF) ADCOCK OF MURFREESBORO AND NANCY (RANDY) HOLDER OF FLYNTVILLE TN. OTHER FAMILY AND FRIENDS ALSO SURVIVE.
