Clarence Pope, age 86, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Wednesday, August 4, 2021, at his residence.  He was a native of Lawrence County, TN, retired from Murray Ohio, and a member of Park Grove Baptist Church.  He was also a member of Ethridge Masonic Lodge #777 for over 50 years. 

 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harley and Viola Bennett Pope; his wife, Thelma Geneva Tripp Pope; one son, Mickey Joe Pope; one brother, Joe Pope; and one sister, Ethel Mae Kinslow.

 

He is survived by one daughter, Judy Carol Lindsey (David) of Revilo, TN; one son, Randy Pope (Alice) of Lawrenceburg, TN; three sisters, Helen Skinner (Gene) of Atlanta, GA, Glenda Pope of Lawrenceburg, TN, and Rita Jones (Ricky) of Lawrenceburg, TN; one brother, William "Bill" Pope of Lawrenceburg, TN; four grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

 

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, August 6, 2021, at Neal Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 10:00 AM Saturday, August 7, 2021, with Ricky Cox officiating, with a masonic service to follow.
