Darrell E. Jones, age 91, of Westpoint, TN passed away Sunday, August 01, 2021, at his residence.  He was a native of Aberdeen, SD, and a member of Pea Ridge Church of Christ.  Mr. Jones was a retired Chief Petty Officer from the U.S. Navy where he served his country honorably.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd K. and Elsie Patzer Jones; and his wife, Wanda D. Ross Jones.

 

He is survived by two daughters, Kimberlee Sarandrea (Loreto) of Westpoint, TN and Jennifer Sawyer (Michael) of Chuluota, FL; five grandchildren, Lacey Carpenter (Kevin) of Orlando, FL, Ashlee Davis (Mitchell) of Mt. Pleasant, TN, Luca Sarandrea of Westpoint, TN, Kristen Iddings (Nick) of Orlando, FL, and Andrew Sawyer of Chuluota, FL; five great-grandchildren; and one brother, Robert Jones of Eureka, SD.

 

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday, August 04, 2021, at Neal Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Thursday, August 05, 2021, with Nick Iddings officiating.  Interment will follow at  Mimosa Cemetery in Lawrenceburg, TN with full military honors.  Condolences may be sent by way of our website at www.nealfuneralhome.net.
