Douglas E. Martin, age 66, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Monday, July 19, 2021, at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, TN. He was a native of Sidney, OH, and retired from Murray Ohio. 

 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Arnold and Clara Lee Favors Martin; one son, Joel Martin; three daughters, Carol Martin, Caron Simbeck, and Betty Lynn Martin; and one sister, Charlotte Dean Dollar.

 

He is survived by his wife, Betty Ann Hunt Martin of Lawrenceburg, TN; one daughter, Sue Stovall Cummings of Olivehill, TN; seven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; four sisters, Lavenia Faye Cates of Buchanan, GA, Pat Fowler of Lawrenceburg, TN, Gwen Martin Trapp of Lawrenceburg, TN, and Robbie Roe of Sidney, OH; and two brothers, Herbert Delano Martin and Stewart Martin, both of Lawrenceburg, TN.

 

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday, July 21, 2021, at Neal Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 3:00 PM Thursday, July 22, 2021.  Interment will follow at Summertown Cemetery in Summertown, TN.  Condolences may be sent by way of our website at www.nealfuneralhome.net.
