Carolyn Ann Gwin, age 76, of Summertown, TN passed away Thursday, July 08, 2021. She was a native of Lawrence County, TN, a homemaker, and a member of New Salem Church of God.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Ruth Webb Cummings; her husband, Riley Carl South; and one brother, Virgil Holt Cummings.
She is survived by one daughter, Amanda Leann Bailey (Matt) of Summertown, TN; two sons, Anthony Carl South (Lynn) and Adam Charles South, both of Summertown, TN; one brother, Jesse Delbert Cummings, Jr. (Vickie) of Summertown, TN; one sister, Roberta Chennault (Ernest) of Summertown, TN; three grandchildren, Tabitha Underwood (Dennis) of Columbia, TN, Hunter Bailey and Annah Bailey, both of Summertown, TN; and one great-grandson, Walker Underwood of Columbia, TN.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM Sunday, July 11, 2021, at New Salem Church of God. Funeral services will be conducted at New Salem Church of God at 3:00 PM Sunday, July 11, 2021, with Kevin Young officiating. Interment will follow at New Salem Cemetery in Lawrence County, TN.
