Blanche McCarter Jones, age 92, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Wednesday, June 30, 2021, at NHC Healthcare of Lawrenceburg.  She was a native of Lawrence County, TN, retired from the healthcare industry; and a member of Mars Hill United Methodist Church.  She was also a member of the Mars Hill Community Club and Oven Angels.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, H.L. and Fannie Caroline Steadman McCarter; and one son, Donnie Jones.

 

She is survived by two daughters, Linda Jones Daniel (Larry "Pete") of Franklin, TN and Sharon Jones Whitsett (the late Joe Whitsett) of Lawrenceburg, TN; one sister, Nettie Brown of Lawrenceburg, TN; seven grandchildren, Mark Daniel (Billie), Suzanne Daniel Stone (Wesley), Lorie Daniel Bain (Travis), Blake Clifton (Pamela), Jake Jones (Meghan), Keith Jones (Katty), and Kevin Jones; and 20 great-grandchildren.

 

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM Saturday, July 03, 2021, at Neal Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 3:00 PM Saturday, July 03, 2021, with Billy Beal officiating.  Interment will follow at Mars Hill Cemetery in Lawrenceburg, TN.  The family suggests memorials be made to Mars Hill United Methodist Church.  Condolences may be sent by way of our website at www.nealfuneralhome.net.
