Roger Dean Newton of Prospect, Tennessee passed away Friday afternoon, June 25, 2021, at Maury Regional Hospital in Columbia, Tennessee. He was born October 13, 1953 in Pulaski, Tennessee and was 67 years old.

Roger was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, uncle and brother. He retired from Valley Packaging in Pulaski. He loved to play golf, fishing, and tending to his garden.

Visitation will be 2:00pm until 6:00pm Sunday, June 27, 2021, at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be 1:00pm Monday, June 28, 2021, in the chapel of Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home with Bro. Mark Johnson officiating.

The burial will follow in Giles Memory Gardens.

He was preceded in death by his father Clarence Dean Newton along with his brothers Randy Lynn and Michael Wayne Newton.

He is survived by his;

Wife, Pamela Jo Fry Newton of Prospect, Tennessee.

Son, Michael Shannon Newton of Minor Hill, Tennessee.

Son, Roger Dean Newton II of Pulaski, Tennessee.

Son, Adrian Wade Henson of Prospect, Tennessee.

Grandsons, Kamron Swinney and Aiden James Turner.

Mother, Ruby Jewel Clifton Newton of Pulaski, Tennessee.

Sister, Linda (Alton) Carr of Goodspring, Tennessee.

Sister, Wanda (Clifford) Tucker of Goodspring, Tennessee.

Sister, Gail Luna of Pulaski, Tennessee.

Sister, Debbie Britt of Pulaski, Tennessee.

Brother, Ronald Newton of Pulaski, Tennessee.

Brother, Stanley (Donna) Newton of Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends also survive.
