Charles Melvin Nelson, age 77 of Lawrenceburg, TN, passed away on Thursday, June 24, 2021 at his residence. He was of the Baptist Faith. Charles proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.

He is preceded in death by his Parents, Earl and Armetta Nelson; Brothers, Artice Ray Nelson, Calvin William Nelson Sr., Fred Thomas Nelson; Sisters, Goldie Marie Martin, Corene Nelson, Carolyn Sue Morgan.

He is survived by his Sons, Glen and Kendall Nelson; Daughters, Jennifer Kobeck (Chris), Pamela Romine, Tonya Randall; Brother, James Roger Nelson (Joan); Sisters, Susie Belle Hood, Martha Faye Hill (Jack); Nine Grandchildren; Special Friend, Anita Nelson; Caretakers, Tina Wix and Joyce Richardson.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Chapel on Friday, July 2, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. with Brother Arthur Payne officiating.
