Fay Hammett Mabry, age 78, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Tuesday, June 22, 2021, at Vanderbilt Wilson County Hospital in Lebanon, TN.  She was a native of Lawrence County, TN, a member of the American Red Cross of Tennessee River, Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce, and Mars Hill Baptist Church.  Mrs. Mabry was a retired VP of Operations from SunTrust Bank where she was also a member of the Tennessee Bankers Association, American Bankers Association, National Association of Bank Women, and SunTrust Red Hat Society. 

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leon Leslie "Buck" and Mary Jane Hampton Hammett; and one brother, Leon Leslie "Buddy" Hammett, Jr.

 

She is survived by her husband, Bobby Mabry of Lawrenceburg, TN; one daughter, Kristi Mabry (Buddy) of Old Hickory, TN; one son, Keith Mabry (Janet) of Murfreesboro, TN; and four grandchildren, Benjamin Mabry

Caroline Mabry, Marileigh Mabry, and Elaina Mabry.

 

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM Saturday, June 26, 2021, at Neal Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 3:00 PM Saturday, June 26, 2021, with Mickey Brackin officiating.  Interment will follow at John Lay Cemetery in Ethridge, TN.  The family suggests memorials be made to Mars Hill Baptist Church Student Ministry or Mars Hill Baptist Church Building Fund.  Condolences may be sent by way of our website at www.nealfuneralhome.net.
