Peggy Joan Massey Myers, age 80, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Saturday, June 19, 2021, at her residence.  She was a native of Indianapolis, IN, a homemaker, and a member of First Baptist Church of Lawrenceburg.  She was also a member of Forever Young, WMU, and First Baptist Bereavement Committee. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Ruth Carroll Massey; and her husband, John Myers.

 

She is survived by one son, Keith Myers (Michelle) of Lawrenceburg, TN; one brother, Larry Arthur Massey (Brenda) of Lawrenceburg, TN, three grandchildren, Cory Myers (Jennifer) of Westpoint, TN, Cody Myers (Shelby) of Lawrenceburg, TN, and Abigail Myers; and eight great-grandchildren, Caleb Myers, Shane Myers, Anna Myers, Cooper Myers, Paislee Myers, Cora Myers, Alex Myers, and Lily Myers.

 

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, June 22, 2021, at Neal Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Wednesday, June 23, 2021, with Jeff Vanlandingham officiating.  Interment will follow at Kidd Cemetery in Lawrence County, TN.  The family suggests memorials be made to the ALS Foundation or First Baptist Church of Lawrenceburg.  Condolences may be sent by way of our website at www.nealfuneralhome.net.
