On Thursday, February 4, 2021, Rose Marie (Crews) Lasater passed away at age 78 in Webster TX with her daughters by her side.

Rose was born December 9, 1942 to William S. Crews and Marie “Rene” Meredith Crews.  She had 3 daughters with Richard Lee Lasater: Rebecca Marie, Beth Leigh, and Bonnie Kaye.

Although she loved her home state of Tennessee with Lawrenceburg and Nashville being her primary stomping grounds, her wanderlust carried her to other residences in Sausalito, CA and Sebring, FL before she settled down in the greater Houston, TX area. In Sebring, she earned her certification as a master gardener and enjoyed horticulture as a lifelong hobby. 

Rose had a passion for animals and never failed to provide treats and love for her “grand-dogs.” She never met a stranger and readily made friends.  Quick to share a drink and her hospitality, she will be missed by her many friends and family.

Rose is preceded in death by her father Shirley, her mother Rene, her daughter Becky, and her brother Bill Crews.  She is survived by daughters Beth and Bonnie and brothers Bob Crews and Dan Crews.

A Graveside Service will be held Saturday, May 22, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
