 Lonzo Lee Wharton Jr. passed away after a long illness Thursday morning, May 20, 2021, peacefully at his home in Prospect, TN. He was born on May 11, 1963 in Madison, AL. and was 58 years old.

Lonzo worked for many years as a mechanic. Although he became disabled at a young age, he always had a smile and encouraging word for those he encountered. His sweet spirit will be sorely missed by those he left behind.

Visitation will be 3:00pm until 5:00pm Friday, May 21, 2021, at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home.

A graveside service will take place 11:00am Saturday, May 22, 2021, at Gatlin Cemetery with Bro. Mark Johnson officiating.

He was preceded in death by his son and daughter Kimberly Lynn and Patrick Lee Wharton. His mother Mary Elizabeth Cox Wharton. Sisters, Sheila Gail Wharton, Sherry Darlene Wharton Noveem, and Cindy Bassham. Brother, Jeffery Ken Wharton. Uncle, Grady Joseph Wharton.

He is survived by his;

Daughter, Lisa Marie (Chris) Fralix of Pulaski, Tennessee.

Son, Christopher (April) Wharton of Pulaski, Tennessee.

Son, Mark Jacob Wharton of Pulaski, Tennessee.

Son, Jeff Wharton of Pulaski, Tennessee.

Father, Lonzo Lee Wharton of Prospect, Tennessee.

Brother, Mark (Peggy) Wharton of Prospect, Tennessee.

Along with a host of beloved grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
