Spencer Martin Michael, 89, of Lexington, AL, passed away May 18, 2021 at NAMC. Spencer was a retired long time employee of A.L. Thompson’s Builders Supply, where he was a concrete driver and lumber yard worker. He was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.

Spencer is survived by:

Son: Marty Michael (Martha)

Daughter: Teresa Smith (Jeff)

Grandchildren: Stephanie Laster (A.J.), Samantha Hardiman (Jonathan), Katelyn Truitt (Jakob), & Emily Steen (Daniel)

(7) Great-grandchildren and (9) Great-great-grandchildren

Brothers: Otis Michael, Jessie Michael, Tollie Michael, Edward Michael, and Roy Michael

Sisters: Dessie Lanier, Pearlene Bailey, Earlene Davis, Clayton Miller, Tolliese Robertson, and Doris Wise

He was preceded in death by:

Wife: Nola Lash Michael

Parents: Lloyd Michael and Ethel Michael

Brother: Wayne Michael

Visitation will be Thursday, May 20, 2021 from 5-8:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Friday at 11:00 A.M. in the funeral home chapel with Ethan Gibson officiating. Burial will be in Pettus Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jonathan Hardiman, Jakob Truitt, Anthony Laster, Daniel Steen, Randy Michael, and Timmy Gibson.
