Elizabeth Benefield Winters, age 94, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Sunday, May 16, 2021, at NHC Healthcare of Scott in Lawrenceburg, TN.  She was a native of Lawrence County, TN, a homemaker, a member of The Red Hat Society, Self Chapel Home Demonstration Club, and Mt. Horeb Baptist Church. 

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Florence Benson Benefield; her husband, D. A. "Pete" Winters; and one sister, Sarah Brown.

 

She is survived by two daughters, Connie Bradburn (Tony) of Ethridge, TN and Joni Nelson (Arno) of Lawrenceburg, TN; three grandchildren, Chelle Travis (Kevin) of Ashburn, VA, Rob Nelson of Lawrenceburg, TN, and Elizabeth Perry (Ethan) of Lawrenceburg, TN; one great-grandchild, Jackson Travis of Ashburn, VA; and niece, Pam Cothren (Wendell) of Lawrenceburg, TN.

 

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Wednesday, May 19, 2021, at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Wednesday, May 19, 2021, with Greg Ivey officiating.  Interment will follow at Ethridge Masonic Cemetery in Ethridge, TN.  The family suggests memorials be made to Mt.
