John Cooper Pigg, 79, born March 5, 1941 in Giles County, TN, died in Richmond, VA, on January 18, 2021.  He was a US Navy Veteran and a member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans.

He was preceded by wife, Carol D. Pigg, daughter, Dawn P. Barbara, parents, John Roy and Frances Eubank Pigg, sister, Emily P. Townsend and nephew, J. Shelton.

He is survived by grandson, James Harrison of Maryland, special fiend, Judy Spivey of Virginia, sisters, Carolyn P. Shelton of Pulaski and Gladys P. (Stoney) Jackson of Minor Hill, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A graveside memorial service, with full military honors will be held on May 8, 2021, at 11:00AM in the Stella Cemetery.
