Ronnie Lee Davis, age 71, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Saturday, May 01, 2021, at his residence.  He was a native of Lawrence County, TN, retired State Quartermaster with the VFW, a mason, a member of VFW Post 1618 and Pulaski Street Church of Christ.  Mr. Davis served his country honorably in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era. 

 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Pauline Sharp Davis; his wife, Edna Davis; one son,  Burt Davis; three sisters, Dean Whitfield (Bill), Frances Hollis (Buddy), and Viva Rosson (Milton); and nephew, Jackie Smith.

 

He is survived by one son, Jonathan Davis (Jennifer) of Lawrenceburg, TN; mother of his children, Brenda Harrington Davis of Lawrenceburg, TN; six grandchildren, Mitch Davis, Victoria Davis, Henlee Davis, Katelyn Gobble, Tayton Davis, and Jacie Davis; four great-grandchildren, Lee Davis, Lillie Davis, Daxton Davis, and River Smith; nieces and nephews, Ricky Whitfield, Randall Whitfield, Rodney Whitfield, Paula Slater, Jimmy Hollis, Jerry Hollis, Brenda Lowery, and Janet Rosson.

 

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, May 04, 2021, at Neal Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Wednesday, May 05, 2021, with Jacob Evans officiating.  Interment will be held Thursday, May 06, 2021 at 11:00 AM at the Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery in Nashville, TN with full military honors.
