James E. Hickman, age 89, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Sunday, March 21, 2021, at his residence.  He was a native of Ethridge, TN, a self-employed contractor, a volunteer for God's Storehouse, and a member of Mars Hill Baptist Church. Mr. Hickman served his country honorably in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
 
He was preceded in death by his parents, Felix and Alta Risner Hickman; his wife, Sybil Nell Crabb Hickman; one brother, Charlie Hickman; one sister, Lela Mae Hickman; and one great-grandchild, Dekota Headrick.
 
He is survived by three daughters, Connie Beeman (Scott), Kathie Risner (David), and Carol Stanfill (Johnny), all of Lawrenceburg, TN; one sister, Pearl Beaver of Olive Branch, MS; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
 
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM Saturday, March 27, 2021, at Mars Hill Baptist Church.  Funeral services will be conducted at Mars Hill Baptist Church at 2:00 PM Saturday, March 27, 2021, with Mickey Brackin and Jeff Overton officiating.  Interment will follow at Liberty Hill Cemetery in Giles County, TN.  The family suggests memorials be made to God's Storehouse.  Condolences may be sent by way of our website at www.nealfuneralhome.net.
