Myrtle Edith Kilburn, age 90, of Ethridge, TN passed away Sunday, February 28, 2021, at her residence.  She was a native of the Center Community, a homemaker, and a member of Center Grove Church of God. 

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jay Lee and Goldie Idell Jones Irelan; and her husband, Ferman Allen Kilburn.

 

She is survived by three children, Larry Kilburn (Linda) of Lawrenceburg, TN, Kathy Kelly (Donnie) of Smithville, TN, and Michael Kilburn (Melanie) of Summertown, TN; seven grandchildren, James Kilburn (Crystal) of Lawrenceburg, TN, Chris Kilburn (Olivia) of Lawrenceburg, TN, Jeremy Kilburn (Carmen) of Lawrenceburg, TN, Valeisha Pedigo (Mark) of Smithville, TN, Kassy Swisher (Iain) of Smithville, TN, Megan Kilburn of Summertown, TN, and McKenzie Kilburn of Summertown, TN; twelve great-grandchildren; two brothers, Kenneth Irelan (Danielle) of Nashville, TN and Billy Irelan (Bessie) of Lawrenceburg, TN; and one sister, Iona Sylvis of Nashville, TN.

 

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, March 2, 2021, at Neal Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Wednesday, March 3, 2021, with Donnie Kelly and Iain Swisher officiating.  Interment will follow at Macedonia Cemetery in Lawrence County, TN.  Family suggests memorials be made to the Summertown Elementary School Backpack Program.  Condolences may be sent by way of our website at www.nealfuneralhome.net.
