Joy Kay (Chennault) Ward, age 70 of Summertown, TN, passed away on Thursday, February 11, 2021 at Maury Regional Medical Center surrounded by her two daughters. She is a member of New Salem Church of God and employed by TDOT in Lawrenceburg, TN. Her hobbies included spending time with her amazing grandchildren, attending ballgames, supporting the military with care packages, and just being with family.

She is preceded in death by her Parents, Ernest and Viola Chennault; Sister, Vicky Chennault; Very special Aunt, Mattie Lou Chennault; 2 very special cousins, J.F. and Sammy Chennault, all of Summertown, TN.

She is survived by her two Daughters, Jamie Jones(Draa) and Jana Clayton; Six Grandchildren, Taylor and Peyton Hedgepeth, Blake and Mattie Kay Bailey, Kattie and Chase Clayton, two Brothers, Loyd Chennault, Columbia, TN, Ernest Chennault (Roberta) Summertown, TN; two Sisters, Ruby Haymons (Travis) Oxnard, CA, Bonnie Springer (Carl) Washington, IL, several nieces and nephews.

The Graveside service for Joy Kay Ward has been postponed and will be announced at a later date.

The family would like to ask all attendees to please wear a mask and practice social distancing guidelines.
