A FEATURE FOR THE ONLINE DRIVER SERVICES WEBSITE PROVIDES LICENSE AND I-D HOLDERS THE OPPORTUNITY TO SUBMIT EMERGENCY CONTACT INFORMATION TO THE ONLINE DRIVER LICENSE DATA BASE. THE FEATURE IS DESIGNED TO ASSIST CITIZENS IN EMERGENCY SITUATIONS BY PROVIDING INFORMATION FOR EMERGENCY SERVICES PERSONNEL TO CONTACT YOUR FAMILY OR FRIENDS IF YOU ARE INVOLVED IN AN ACCIDENT OR OTHER EMERGENCY AND ARE UNABLE TO COMMUNICATE WITH FIRST RESPONDERS. LICENSE OR I-D CARD HOLDERS MAY SUBMIT THE NAME OF A CONTACT PERSON, THE CONTACT'S PHONE NUMBER AND E-MAIL ADDRESS. MORE THAN ONE CONTACT MAY BE SUBMITTED.
