John Douglas Turner of Elkton died on Friday, May 18th. He was a retired safety administrator at Solucia in Decatur Al, a former mayor and city councilman and for the City of Elkton and a member of the Elkton Baptist Church.
Visitation will be held on Monday May 21st from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, May 22nd at 2 p.m. at the Elkton Cemetery with burial to follow.
He is survived by his wife; Beverly Turner of Elkton, two daughters; Becky Clifft and husband Scott of Ethridge and Annette Turner of Columbia. Two step children: Michael Bryant of Pulaski and Debbie Barnes and husband Don of Green Hill, AL.
Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Carr & Erwin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements for John Douglas Turner.
