Clarence Dean Newton of Pulaski died on Monday, May 14. He was a Veteran of the United States Army and 95 years old.

Visitation with the family will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the Funeral Service, which will begin at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 16, at Carr & Erwin Funeral home. Burial will follow at Maplewood Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Jewel Clifton Newton of Pulaski, four daughters, Linda Carr and husband Alton of Pulaski, Gail Luna of Pulaski, Wanda Tucker and husband Clifford of Leoma, and Debbie Britt and husband Kenny of Pulaski, three sons, Roger Newton and wife Pam of Prospect, Ronald Newton of Pulaski, and Stanley Newton and wife Donna of Dayton, two brothers, Porter Newton of Lawrenceburg and Thurman Newton of Pulaski, and one sister, Velma Mitchell of Pulaski.

20 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren also survive.
