Thomas Francis Faulkner,81, of Gadsden died Sunday.

He was owner of Rainbow Cultured Marble and was a Scout Master for the Boy Scouts and Band Master for the Gadsden High School Band Program. He was the Drive Chairman for the United Way and a donor to the Gadsden Cultural Arts Center. He was of the Catholic faith.

A visitation will be held in Gadsden, AL at Collier-Butler Funeral Home Tuesday from 4-7 pm.  A visitation will be at Bennett-May Giles County Funeral Home in Pulaski 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday with funeral services at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Giles Memorial Garden. 

Memorials are suggested to Boy Scouts of America, Gadsden High School Band Program or the United Way.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Lois Mitchell Faulkner; two sons:Thomas Kevin Faulkner and wife Michèle Pynaert and Stephen Patrick Faulkner; two grandchildren; sisters-in-law: Joy Faulkner Marchi and husband John, Marie Mitchell Ward and husband Joe and Montez Mitchell; brothers-in-law: Thomas Clayton Mitchell and wife Phyllis of Pulaski and William (Bill) Mitchell and wife Faye of Cornerville. Numerous cousins, nieces and nephews also survive.

Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home and Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services are in charge of arrangements for Thomas Francis Faulkner.
