William Francis Redmond Sr., 73 of Minor Hill died Sunday at his home.

He served in the Army, where he was an officer and volunteer driver for the Giles County Veterans Alliance.

Survivors include his Christopher Redmond of Maryland, Patrick Redmond, William Francis Redmond Jr., and Timothy Redmond. He is also survived by a sister Margaret Long of Pennsylvania, and a brother Dennis of Florida. Four grandchildren also survive.

Burial with full military honors will take place at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Memorials contributions are suggested to CARIS Hospice in Columbia or to the Giles County Veterans Alliance in Pulaski.
