Doyle Edward Smith, Sr. died at his home Tuesday, He was born in Giles County and was 82 years old.

Doyle was a retired Baptist preacher.

Visitation will be this evening from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will be held tomorrow at 3:00pm in the chapel of Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home with Bro. Kevin Wells and Bro. Mack Thomas officiating.

Burial will follow in Giles Memory Gardens

The family suggests memorial donations be made to Wales Baptist Church, 1860 Campbellsville Road, Pulaski, TN 38478

He is survived by his, Wife, Carolyn Smith of Pulaski, Daughters, Pam and husband Scott Tarpley of Pulaski, and Janet Dunavant of Pulaski, Sons – Eddie and wife Shirley Smith of Pulaski, Billy Joe and wife Teresa Griggs of Pulaski, James and wife Donna Griggs of Pulaski, Sisters, Jean and husband Mark Phelps of Pulaski, Alice Brown of Pulaski, Inez Rogers of Shelbyville, Ernestine Barlar of Pulaski, and 11 Grandchildren and 19 Great-Grandchildren also survive.
