Cassandra Nelson Barber died February 16 at the age of 50. She was a member of the Temple of Praise Church.

Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, Saturday, with the funeral service to follow at 12:00 noon at the Central Building.

The burial will follow in the Oak Grove Memorial Cemetery.

Survivors include her husband, Mark Antonio Barber, four sons Verbal  Brown, Julius Appleton, James Fowler and  Mark Barber. One daughter  Emorjee Barber along with her Father Ronnie Nelson and Stepfather, Don Brown. Two sisters Sherri Nelson Crawford and Natasha Nelson; one brother Gerald Pace.

Several other relatives also survive.
