Matthew Arnold Williams, 83, a farmer and resident of Lynnville, died Thursday, February 16th, 2023 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He served in the U.S. Army National Guard, and was a member of Lynnville United Methodist Church.
Services will be Monday at 2:00pm at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Reverend Jeff Kane officiating.
Burial will be in Lynnwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be Monday from 12:00pm until service time at the funeral home.

Survivors include his wife, Gayle Smith Williams of Lynnville, children, Michael Williams of Lynnville, Laurie and husband Jim Warren of Arkansas, Rita and husband Ted Thompson of Cornersville, brother, Ted and wife Nancy Williams of Chapel Hill, and 2 grandchildren.
