Helen O’Neal Mitchell, age 94, of McBurg, died Monday, December 20th at her home. She was a native of Lincoln County, a member of Beech Grove Methodist Church and helped plan special events at the McBurg Community Center.
Survivors include seven grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Tuesday, December 27th from 5:00 until 8:00pm at Higgins Funeral Home in Fayetteville.
Services will be at Beech Grove Methodist Church, Wednesday December 28th at 11:00am.
Visitation at the church from10:00 until 11:00am. The Rev. Allan Shedd will officiate.
Burial will bein Wright’s Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, Memorial Processing, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
