Brownie Elizabeth Brown, age 96, of Lynnville, died Friday, September 2nd, 2022 at Limestone Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Athens, AL.

She was a native of Marshall County, the daughter of the late George Townsend and Nettie Raines Townsend. She was retired from Cosmolab and a member of the Odd Fellows Hall Church of Christ.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, James Edd Brown, son, James Ronald "Ronnie" Brown, two brothers, and two sisters. She is survived by her daughter, Melissa Sides of Athens, AL, grandchildren, Tracy (Jamie) Cox of Lynnville, Brandy (Eric ) Embry of Rogersville, AL, Michael (Karmen) Sides of Athens, Al, great grandchildren, Katelyn Cox, Ronnie James Cox, Mason Cox, Harper Wallace, Owen Embry, special daughter in law, Kathy (Rickie) Fralix of Lynnville, several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.

Funeral Service will be conducted on Wednesday, September 7th, 2022 at 2:00 pm from the Chapel of Cornersville Funeral Home 310 North Main St. Cornersville, TN 37047 with burial to follow in Mars Hill cemetery.

Visitation with the family will begin on Tuesday, September 6th, 2022 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and will continue on Wednesday, September 7th, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. until the funeral hour.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mars Hill Cemetery Fund c/o Gary Boatright, 2382 Lynnville Hwy., Cornersville, TN 37047 or to the Odd Fellows Hall Church of Christ, 1875 Odd Fellows Hall Rd. Pulaski, TN 38478.
