Destineé Cheyanne Rhea, died July 15, 2022. She was a 2021 graduate of Fayetteville City High School and a sophomore at the University of Tennessee Southern (UT Southern). Desi played basketball and volleyball for Unity School, softball and basketball at Fayetteville City High School, and basketball at UT Southern. She was a member of the McBurg Baptist Church.

Survivors include her maternal grandmother, Shelia Stubblefield, siblings, Deshana Lea Rogers, Alandra Mae Rhea, Kynlee Paige Rhea, Kaylyn Ellyce Rhea, and Micah Duran Rhea nephew, Kyler Lux Rhea; Her parents and her Little Blessings family and Kitchen 218 family, several other family members and friends also survive.

Services will be held at 11 AM Monday, July 25th at the First Presbyterian Church, with Joseph Hamilton, Bro. Elvin Bridges, and Patrick Barnes officiating.

Burial will be in the Wright’s Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Destineé Rhea Memorial Scholarship Fund at Bank of Lincoln County.

Higgins Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements for Destineé Cheyanne Rhea.
