John Thomas Henderson of Pulaski died December 2nd at his residence. He was born in Giles County and was 90 years old.

He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, was a member of the American Legion, and was employed a dozier operator. He was a member of Pleasant Ridge United Methodist Church and attended New Zion Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Guy and Frankie Duncan Henderson; daughter, Donna Maria Henderson; brothers: Duncan Henderson and Franklin Henderson; and sisters: Georgia Lee Yant and Martha Fry.

Visitation will be held 4 to 8 o'clock Saturday evening at Carr and Erwin Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 o'clock at Carr and Erwin Funeral Home. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to New Zion Baptist Church Building Fund, 1595 Sumac Road, Pulaski, Tennessee 38478.

Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Norma Carr Henderson of Pulaski; sons: Johnny Henderson and wife Tiffany of Columbia and Tracy Henderson and wife Sandi of Pulaski; sisters: Alene Thompson of McMinnville and Betty Roberts of Pulaski; 2 grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
