David Ray Helton, age 75 of Goodspring, passed away Monday February 28, 2022 at Maury Regional Hospital in Columbia.

Mr. Helton was born March 6, 1946 to John Thomas and Vannie Lou Johnson Helton. He was retired from the Tennessee Department of Transportation and preceded in death by his parents, sisters Evelyn McGee and Joyce Walls, brothers Thomas, Jim and Terry Helton.

Visitation will be Thursday March 3, 2022 from 5 to 9pm at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home. Funeral will be 2pm Friday March 4, 2022 at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home with burial in Minor Hill Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife Mary Helton of Goodspring, son George Helton of Goodspring, daughter Sheila Polly and husband Morris of Pulaski, brother Kenneth Helton of Pulaski, two grandchildren, five great grandchildren, best friend Harold Peden, numerous nieces and nephews.
